What people say about the Following Patient 36 Resources:

the focus of the performance, a history of the marginalisation of people with learning disabilities, can be very easily, and in fact seamlessly, linked to the study of the concepts of labelling, prejudice and discrimination. There are also several points in the performance that relate to the law, and to how the law has changed – a possibility to consider and compare The Mental Deficiency Act (1913) and The Equality Act (2010)”

Richard Demby, Teacher –  Manchester Hospital School

The visuals and audio were really engaging for the pupils. They particularly liked the creative activities. The reflective questions eg how did the film make you feel etc. were really thought provoking for pupils. Asked two weeks later about the lesson and pupils could easily recall information from it’
