I think DIY Theatre's journey with exploring Lived Experience is very poignant with the conversation that was being heard earlier in the zoom on Lived or Living Experience and use of Lived Experience terminology. I just want to congratulate DIY on the great work showcased today. In particular:

- Digital inclusion – so very, very important for everyone and a meaningful way to address some of the inequalities faced by people with learning disabilities.
- Work in schools and in particular the role modelling provided to help disabled children see that disabled people can be powerful members of the community.
- Work to educate future medics – it is vital that health and social care professionals understand the real lived experiences of disabled people to enable them to develop empathy and compassion. The rhetoric and reality are often a long was apart. Audience feedback 18/2/22
